I first looked at this bass guitar reading the review of Stewart Teaze of the Yamaha ERB070 Bass Guitar Package. When I purchased the bass guitar I was pleasantly surprised by its quality, sound and feel. I am happy I went for this Yamaha Gigmaker EB because for 70 odd dollars more, you get a better guitar and 13 more watts on the amp. The amp works great btw, quiet enough to practice but loud enough to play gigs if need be. I highly recommend this product if your a serious beginner/intermediate bass player.

I purchased this package and when I received it I was shocked to see it has some off-brand 15 watt amp. The up-front description and other review says that it has a better 20 watt amp. The photo amp is also not correct. The list of parts does say 15 amp – but you must search to see it. Beware of this site. Bad business practice of bait and switch – shame on you Amazon.

For an entry level product, this thing great. Just don’t forget to buy an educational DVD as the included DVD gives very little information.

ok this kit is really great im now a pro but i still use this guitar.

the only problem is that its not like the picture!!!!!

you see its a yamaha amplifier nd 15 watt, also the guitar has only the humbucker pickups.

but thats not bad because beginners dont need more then that!!!!
